I joined the amazing world of photography a long time  ago, at the age of 17 when a relative gave me, as a present, a compact Chinon camera with a great f/ 2.8 lense, a kind of lens that is not common any longer these new days...

At the beginning everything started as a hobby, but after time went bye the hobby led to something else, something that is  really a part of me day by day, everyday…

From the very beginning I was excited by the concept of photography in black and white. The complex reality of the colors of our world made me move and evolve into a more confortable area: the grayscale zone.

This scale is still my friend after all this period of time, in a way that let me observe some of the routines and basic things in life from an easier and more affordable point of view, point of sense...

On some parts of this web, the "Asian Memories" are a collection of black and white portraits that captured my attention at all its magnitude; people and places in their worlds, persons with their dreams and realities, people basically speaking people ...

In many aspects of life, not only in the world of photography "Be daring, be different, be impractical, be anything that will assert integrity of purpose and imaginative vision against the play-it-safers, the creatures of the commonplace, the slaves of the ordinary".
